Jope shares his joy of life with all. His energy and passion in his ministry and in his day-to-day activities reflects his inner spirit of making faith become a verb.  His gift of music, keen wit, and a deep grounding in theological and spiritual matters only are surpassed by his constant smile - he calls it "something to chase your blues away".

In the short time since Jope has arrived in the Forestburg/Alliance region, many changes have taken place in both congregations with hoping and dreaming becoming realities and new vision and "Yes! We can do this!" becoming the norm.

Jope has moved many people in the two congregations to come much closer together and to share in their deep faith.

Jope also realizes that it is not just one individual which implements change and that the whole community needs to be involved.  He is just happy that positive things are taking place.
